Wildflower, Butterfly & Bee Habitat
Our Habitat
The Walnut Grove Wildflower, Butterfly & Bee Habitat provides food, shelter, and nesting sites for bees, butterflies, moths, and a variety of songbirds. The habitat is open to all Walnut Grove members, and is a great place to take photographs, listen to songbirds, go for walks, and just sit in nature to relax and rejuvenate. In the future, we hope to see a path, benches and informational signage and other features that will help create sustainable future for both wildlife and the residents of Walnut Grove.
The habitat is owned and maintained by Walnut Grove Mutual Housing Association with monitoring and recommendations provided by the Habitat special committee.
